Our partner consults with manufacturing the industry's most advanced bioreactors and operational efficiencies, and they are looking for a Systems Engineer II for their site in Camarillo, CA!
Title: Service Engineer II
Location: Camarillo, CA (Hybrid)
Salary: $85k-100k Dependent on experience
Primary Responsibilities
• Perform scheduled on-site services such as IQ/OQ, system installation, and preventative maintenance (PM) on bioreactors in the field reliably, in a timely manner, and with proper documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve in-depth bioreactor hardware/ software-related issues/ questions in the field via calls, e-mails, and on-site visits in a professional manner.
• Act as back-up internal resource for developing user requirements for product development, communicating feedback from customers to internal team as applicable.
• Employ modeling tools to simulate and assess systems, subsystems, and data.
• Effectively communicate requirements and findings across multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field with 3+ years of work experience at electromechanical equipment manufacturer(s).
• Hands-on experience working with bioprocess equipment.
• Solid understanding of bioreactor functions and components.
• Positive attitude and superb interpersonal skills, with ability to build quick rapport with new people.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 2 weeks per month.
• Ability to work individually with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a multi-functional team.
