JOB REQUIREMENTS: Prepare and cook large quantities of food for institutions, such as schools, hospitals, or cafeterias. Work alongside other talented culinary professionals to compose and prepare scratch made dishes. Creativity Our menus change daily, so we\'re always looking for new ideas. Whether it\'s a riff on an old favorite or something totally outside the box, we\'ll give it a shot. Cook foodstuffs according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, or numbers of portions to be served. Compile and maintain records of food use and expenditures. Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure food safety. Plan menus that are varied, nutritionally balanced, and appetizing, taking advantage of foods in season and local availability. Rotate and store food supplies.
