Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the end-to-end process of developing key business analytics to drive the Americas business. This role will manage the analysis of current and potential business investments, summarize key insights, and present findings to leadership in support of data driven decision making and optimal resource allocation. This role will play a critical role in shaping the future state digital finance ecosystem, leveraging analytical platforms to optimize resource allocation, digitize data consumption and accelerate decision making timelines.


Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
Perform financial analyses to gain valuable insight into key areas of the business.
Drive key analytic initiatives such as channel/customer profitability, program effectivity, business investment ROI, product performance, and product launch analysis.
Participate as the Finance partner in cross-functional teams tasked with the strategic development and implementation of commercial programs and promotions.
Key contributor toward future state analytical and digital finance strategy. This role is expected to assess analytical tools and platforms and make recommendations on how best to integrate.
Participate in Corporate customer planning and provide analysis and recommendations on invests into the business.
Drive standardized market level KPI reporting based on the needs of the Commercial business.
Develop business models and sensitivity analyses to measure business investment impact on revenue, margin and profit.
Assist in Commercial Finance data requirements and contribute in global, cross functional business intelligence projects.
Participate as the Finance partner in cross-functional teams tasked with the development and implementation of commercial programs and promotions.
Serve as an Americas Finance internal data expert responsible for leading progressive technology enablement advancement and adoption.
Act as key point of contact to support the Sales and Marketing leadership team and partner in development of critical business initiates to drive growth.
Ad hoc analysis in support of Americas business initiates.

Qualifications


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Exceptional analytical skills in gathering large data sets and extracting actionable insights.
Strong understanding of data reporting tools and business data structure
Solid understanding of statistical analysis concepts to measure business effectiveness.
Ability to communicate complex business and finance concepts across a range of business functions.
Strong project management skills with the ability balance multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proactive self-starter with the demonstrated ability to independently research, analyse and interpret data
Expert level proficiency in MS Office applications (notably Excel)
High degree of proficiency in analytical and ERP systems (Cognos, Tableau, R Studio, PowerBI, Oracle)
Collaborative team player

Work Environment:
Normal office environment/setting.
Sedentary to light physical effort necessary to perform the job


Experience:
10 years experience in managing multiple financial and commercial projects
History of leveraging comprehensive analytics methodologies, especially in conjunction with analytic/visualization tools
Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Visio)
Familiar with platform/tools such as Salesforce.com, Oracle, Cognos and SQL


Education:
Bachelors degree required; MBA/MS preferred

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $100, 679 and $134, 237 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
