Job Requirements
Job Title: Purchasing Clerk / Operations Buyer
Location: Viernheim, Germany
Antech Diagnostics are looking for an Operations Buyer to join our growing team in Viernheim. You will be responsible for purchasing all non-capital materials and laboratory supplies within your assigned location.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the ordering process for laboratory diagnostic materials and supplies via the ERP system.
Working closely with suppliers and internal departments including the laboratories, logistics and finance.
Negotiating with suppliers and cost management.
Handling any complaints or issues that may arise, to ensure consistent service levels.
Creating and maintaining master data and relevant documentation.
Handling customs formalities and reporting regulations when required.
Planning, implementing and monitoring procurement activities.
Working within short timescales to ensure on time delivery and issuing/confirming purchase orders.
Ensure receipt of supplier confirmation for all PO’s and resolve any supplier issues pertaining to pricing or delivery.

Work Experience
Proven experience within a supply chain, sourcing or purchasing role.
Organised approach to your work.
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks.
German and English written and verbal language skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Intermediate proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office products including Excel.
