The Insurance and Investment Coordinator serves as a pivotal link between the credit union and its members, ensuring a seamless and positive experience within the Retirement and Investment Services program. Reporting to the Director of Partner Services, this role involves actively engaging with all Retail leadership, both through in-person visits and remote meetings for regional markets, to enhance member awareness and participation in the program. In addition to fostering relationships with branch and call center leaders and team members, the coordinator facilitates appointments with Financial Advisors, monitors program performance, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards, all with a focus on delivering exceptional member experiences and promoting program growth.

Responsibleand Accountable for:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with Retail team members; collaborating to promote the Retirement and Investment Services program and enhance member engagement.

  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings with branch managers to discuss program initiatives, address concerns, and strategize ways to improve the member experience and increase participation.

  • Ensure the smooth scheduling of appointments for credit union members with Financial Advisors, providing personalized assistance and guidance to enhance member satisfaction.

  • Monitor and analyze referral and investment/insurance activity, including monthly (GDC) and profitability metrics, to identify opportunities for enhancing member experiences and driving program performance.

  • Coordinate incentives for team members based on referrals, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence in member service.

  • Support and coordinate investment seminars, webinars, and other marketing initiatives to educate members and promote the program, focusing on delivering informative and engaging experiences.

  • Coordinate with Marketing to review supporting materials to ensure alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements, maintaining a focus on providing clear and accurate information to members.

  • Travel as needed to facilitate branch and call center visits, engage with out-of-state markets, and support program expansion initiatives, always with a commitment to delivering positive member experiences.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively promote insurance and investment products and services, with a strong focus on enhancing member experiences and satisfaction.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Act, with the ability to perform administrative functions efficiently.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with Retail leadership, team members, members, and partners.

  • Ability to recognize and address member needs and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of member satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed to facilitate visits, engage with out-of-state markets, and support program expansion efforts while prioritizing positive member experiences.

  • Ability to successfully pass Life, Annuities and Health Insurance examination.

Education andExperience:

  • Education: Associates degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: Approximately 2-3 years as an Office Coordinator or equivalent position.
