Job Description:
The Essentia Health Virginia Care Center team is partnering with Advanced Minnesota to offer a no cost training to individualsinterested in pursuing a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Essentia Health. The program covers the full cost ofeducation and the certification exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. Earn Income while training - providing indirect care to patients. You will be:Responsible to assist the licensed professionals and direct care staff with personal cares per individualized care plans to maintain the personal comfort of the resident as assigned. Works to maintain a clean, safe and organized environment for the residents.Assists with basic personal cares, including assistance in with meal setup and water pass.Provides activity and exercise for the residents as assigned. Assists residents in dealing with psychosocial needs.Responsible for observing and reporting any changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisor. Completes all required documentation in a complete and timely manner.May assist with entrance screening and other duties as assigned.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
No education required
Must successfully complete the facility required training courses.
