Corteva Agriscience SPD Community Safety Specialist in Brazil

We have an exciting opportunity for Seed Product Development (SPD) Community Safety Specialist to join our team in Brazil and supporting other research stations in Brazil and in Africa.
The Community Safety Specialist is an integral part of our Global Safety Communities and works closely with our Research Center Operations Leads as well as our Safety Community partners in EHS&S.
Responsibilities:
Assist all Seed Product Development sites in Brazil and in Africa with the Safety Community on Standard implementation, revisions, and tracking.
Lead the implementation of EH&S standards at our research stations, working closely with the Site Operational Leader.
Lead the transition of Standards & Policies into safety excellence in our seasonal activities.
Ensure training programs are adequate, consistent, and updated across the Community.
Prepare, document, and train on site's standard operating procedures.
Train and mentor full-time, part-time, seasonal, and contingent staff.
Co-lead Safety Community meetings with EHS&S Community Lead.
Drive harmonization of Safety Standards within and across Communities.
Ensure that facility safety and security policies are communicated, followed, and enforced.
Attend regional safety meetings as needed.
Requisitions:
Degree in Agriculture/engineering/safety/industrial Hygienist or related field of study.
Related education and/or relative work experience (i.e. training, operations, manufacturing agriculture, warehousing, etc.).
Strong interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication skills.
Feel comfortable creating and facilitating training for both large and small groups.
Be able to Work independently and in a team environment.
Experience and proficiency in computer systems and programs including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and tend to pick up quickly on new software and digital applications.
Able to have a flexible work schedule with the availability to support off shift teams as needed to provide training and serve as a safety resource.
Bilingual fluency (English/Portuguese), fluency in Spanish is a plus.
