IHG Residence Public Area Attendant - Six Senses Crans Montana in Switzerland

As Residence Public Area Attendant, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness.

I have full knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the hotel including all room categories as well as their location and layout, credit policy of the hotel and reservation coding. Understand the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.

I will perform the following relevant tasks for this role:

Responsible for ensuring that the Residence’s public areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and elevators, are clean and well-maintained. Residence Public Area Attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems.

  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in lobbies, hallways, and other public areas.

  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.

  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.

  • Clean windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of elevators and stairways.

  • Conduct regular inspections of public areas to identify maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns.

  • Report any damages, repairs needed, or safety hazards to the maintenance or management team.

  • Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are stored properly and are in good working condition.

  • Interact courteously and professionally with residents and visitors, responding to inquiries or requests for assistance.

  • Provide information about the residence’s amenities and services as needed.

  • Handle any complaints or concerns promptly and report them to the appropriate department if necessary.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment.

  • Follow guidelines for the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

  • Participate in training sessions and meetings related to safety, cleaning techniques, and other relevant topics.

  • Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned, such as deep cleaning during move-ins or move-outs.

  • Help set up and clean up after events or functions held in public areas.

  • Perform seasonal cleaning tasks, such as snow removal or pool maintenance, if applicable.

Skills and Experience

To execute the position of Residence Public Area Attendant I have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar or greater role in luxury hotels with proven results. I possess more than one year’s experience in a similar hotel operational role. 

I have good understanding of scheduling work, and knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals and surfaces. 

I have a basic of English and some knowledge of the local language and customs.
