Job Summary
We are looking for a Project Manager to infrastructure-based project environment (understanding basics like servers, storage, network, etc.). They should be able to understand concepts of SD-WAN, projects involving aged infrastructure, data centers, etc. This position will be full-time and Remote.
Job Description
What You’ll Do
Lead technology projects from initiation through to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases, adhering to project management best practices and methodologies.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones and budgetary targets, proactively identifying and addressing any deviations or risks.
Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to support project activities, including assigning tasks, managing timelines, and resolving resource conflicts.
Lead the implementation and deployment of infrastructure solutions, including servers, networks, storage, virtualization, and cloud services, following industry best practices and standards.
Conduct regular performance monitoring and capacity planning for IT infrastructure components, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to IT infrastructure and security.
What You'll Need
Required:
Previous experience with PPM software is required - Planisware PPM Software, ServiceNow or Microsoft Project experience is very beneficial.
Must have waterfall project management skills not just Agile, and they must have run multiple projects using waterfall methodology.
Must have worked with global teams, be flexible working with various time zones.
Preferred:
8-10 Years’ experience in Infrastructure, server.
ITIL concept knowledge would be nice
Service Now or Microsoft Project experience is very beneficial.
Physical Demands
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
