Jabil Supply Chain Analyst in Singapore

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a deeper understanding of Supply Chain process and be part of the team that enables change to improve systems and metrics

  • Collects, records, and analyzes data using established protocols and processes; communicates findings to other team members for review and feedback.

  • Collaborate with the rest of the World-Wide site leads to gather information & data for the purpose of analyzing performance metrics

  • Be able to present to key stakeholders on site and global metric performance

  • Collaborate with the team members and partners to understand business need and design, develop, rollout and automate effective solutions

  • Combine data across different data sources to provide support for requests for data & analytics.

  • Define and uphold standards and processes for analysis & reporting, including creation and maintenance of important metric dashboards & dataflow

  • Be the driver of digital capability building in the team and act as role model for agile, simplification and organizational change.

  • Analyze Supply Chain data and review supplier scorecards to determine continuous improvement in service and supply chain agility.

  • Lead development of suppliers’ capability to hit inventory glide paths and optimization of non-performing inventory.

  • Explore and analyse data using visual analytics and statistical techniques. Design and develop the visually intuitive and appealing story boards using BI tools.

  • Leverage data visualization techniques and tools to effectively demonstrate patterns, outliers and exceptional conditions in the supply chain data

  • Working collaboratively with cross functional teams within Supply Chain planning to develop analytics solutions

  • Knowledge and understanding of supply chain concepts and application; focused on Demand Planning, Inventory Theory, Warehouse & Logistics Operations.

  • Prepare the documentation of analytics solutions

  • Identify gaps to objectives, and set priorities and action plans to close those gaps to commitments and performance measure targets

  • Provide analysis of key KPI’s and financial data to identify performance and improvement opportunities and execute on those initiatives.

  • Strong ability to drive and manage escalations with cross functional teams on any production issues to develop action plan and execution to mitigate all risks to on time delivery

  • Explore and drive continuous improvement on process optimization in planning areas and automation reports

JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to effectively present information or training material and respond to questions from relatively large groups of people.

  • Strong problem solving, analytic, negotiation, project management and people skills are a must.

  • Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, summarize information and draw valid conclusions.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

  • Ability to solve practical problems with limited information.

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Power BI, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Python) and e-mail skills required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Diploma holders with experience will be considered.

  • Hands on and meticulous with a problem solving mind-set.

  • Good communications and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and with minimal mentorship
