Cogent Infotech Chemist I in United States
3 months Possibility for extension
Support development of new Hair Care innovations and breakthrough technologies by producing lab batches of new formulations
Evaluate formula performance and stability through sensory evaluation and measurement of pH and viscosity
Maintain a clean and organized working area within the lab
Ensure business continuity by working with the Hair Care Team to evaluate raw materials for vendor strategy and compulsory requirements.
Communicate technical findings within the Hair Care Teams
Develop expertise of the Hair Care Team in Chemistry
Bachelors degree in biology, chemistry, or related field is required.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
6-12 months experience is required
Creative and self-motivated.
Be able to think out of the box and willing to take an extra step to get job done.
Experience and understanding of formulation of, surfactant and emulsion systems. Hair product formulation a plus.
