BayCare Health System HIM Training Specialist - BMG in United States

BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

Position Details:

  • Location: Hybrid (Requires travel to facilities in Polk, Pasco, Hillsborough, and Pinellas Counties)

  • Status: Full time

  • Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

  • Days: Monday through Friday (Occasional Saturdays)

The HIM Training Specialist opportunity is a full-time hybrid role that will require travel to facilities in Polk, Pasco, Hillsborough, and Pinellas Counties at a minimum of three times a week.

Responsibilities:

The HIM Training Specialist for BMG is responsible for identifying, developing, organizing, planning, preparing, and delivering both standard and customized training and materials related to coding/charging and coding-related information systems as required. The HIM Training Specialist performs other duties as assigned.

  • OR Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)

Education

  • Required High School or equivalent

  • Preferred Associates or Bachelor Degree

Experience

  • Required 2 years Coding

  • Preferred Physician Coding
