Fortive Corporation Key Account Sales Representative in United States

The Key Account Sales Representative will use their collective experience to uncover opportunities within the targeted list of Key Accounts using a consistently high level of professionalism. The Key Account Sales Support Representative role is to aggressively identify and qualify new business opportunities by building relationships with potential prospects via telephone, email and social media. The role carries the responsibility of generating and managing qualified leads for the Key Account Managers. This role will require the Key Account Sales Support Representative to meet/ exceed qualified lead goals. The position requires extensive written campaigns, telemarketing efforts and interaction with the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified meetings for Key Account Managers

  • Maintain and organize an annual book of business

  • Be a subject matter expert and evangelist of Fluke Reliability Systems list of branding solutions

  • Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts with the goal of booking sales appointments and influencing company revenue

  • Responding timely to inquiries from marketing campaigns

  • Identifying targets and calling on new prospects to introduce them to Fluke Reliability Systems, generating interest/demand and moving the prospect along in the early stages of the sales process;

  • Updating CRM database with all activities

  • Migrating prospects through a funnel status to eventually becoming a Sales Qualified Lead

  • Securing a transition meeting between the prospect and Key Account Manager (KAM) for each Sales Accepted Lead

  • Working closely with Key Account Manager team to pursue new logo development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 1-3 years experience in telemarketing, inside sales or sales (enterprise software, SAAS and/or technology sales preferred)

  • Cold-calling expertise in a B2B direct lead-generation environment

  • 1-2 years of experience in a quota carrying position

  • Experience with outreach such as cold calling, emailing and navigating organizations

  • Experience prospecting into strategic business account via cold call, email and social strategies

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-starter with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding tele-marketing goals

  • Energy and drive with the ability to pivot in a fast-paced environment who relishes being a part of a fast-growing SAAS culture

  • Team player possessing the desire to grow within an organization

  • Excellent skills in solution-oriented, business-value-based lead qualification

  • Ability to create a strong relationship with a team of field sales reps

  • Strong time management and organization skills and knowledge of (SAAS) technology is a plus

$69,700 - $129,400. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
