We are seeking a Major Account Executive who thrives in expanding high-value, strategic accounts with a focus on long-term planning and growth.
Partner with the best
Your purpose is to lead the development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives. You will drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth through innovative campaigns and effective communication strategies. Your role involves analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
Developing comprehensive strategies to enhance security and performance for large-scale requirements.
Utilizing your network to expand reach and forge new relationships that open doors to additional business opportunities.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive awareness and increase product adoption.
Leading a robust account team to build and execute on a cohesive and strategic territory plan.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a track record with 10 years of experience managing and growing relationships with the largest high tech, media, or gaming organizations.
Have experience selling CDN, application and network security, and web performance products and services to enterprise clients.
Have a deep commitment to building lasting relationships by consistently delivering solutions that achieve customer success.

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary commissions) for this position ranges from $187,678 - $300,120/year; a candidate’s OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
