Job Description: Material Handler II Client Summary
Our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry business provides analytical instrumentation for organic and inorganic sample analysis.
These products are complemented by laboratory information management systems (LIMS) chromatography data systems (CDS); database analytical tools; automation systems; and a range of consumables, such as a full line of chromatography columns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities/Duties:
May operate order pickers, forklifts, turret trucks, and other equipment to handle product movement
Perform receipt & putaway functions via RF unit to store products
Pick work orders or sales orders and deliver to accurate staging areas
Pack parcels and pallets and prepare them for shipment
Perform kitting, assembly, weighing, or production machine operation
Work safely every day and keep all work areas clean and organized.
All other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
Specific Scope Data
Due to serving critical customers may need to work overtime (early or late or weekend) based on business needs. Prior notice will be given when possible
Position to support Safety, Quality, Customer Delivery, Customer Allegiance Score, and PPI & Efficiency Savings.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High School education or GED.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities to perform functions
Frequently lift 50 lbs and occasionally lift more than 50 lbs with assistance
Frequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting
