Description
We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Visalia, California, United States. As a Bookkeeper, you will handle a range of tasks, including maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and managing accounts payable and receivable. This role is critical in ensuring our financial data is accurate and up-to-date, which involves using various software and tools.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable and receivable
• Handle account reconciliation tasks to ensure financial data accuracy
• Conduct bank reconciliations to monitor and manage cash flow
• Utilize software such as QuickBooks and Sage for bookkeeping tasks
• Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions
• Use Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis
• Manage month-end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting
• Oversee payroll processing to maintain employee compensation records
• Maintain accurate financial records for reference and auditing purposes
Requirements
• Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping role.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is expected.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Candidate should be adept at performing Bank Reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Bookkeeping is mandatory for this role.
• Applicant should have strong data entry skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with Month End Close procedures is necessary.
• Applicant should have experience in handling Payroll.
• Knowledge and experience in using QuickBooks is required.
• Familiarity with Sage Software is a substantial advantage.
