Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Vista, California
Description
We are in the search for a highly detail oriented and meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist for our client in Vista, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling high volume reconciliation and maintaining a master excel sheet. This role offers growth opportunities into a Sr. role in the future.
Responsibilities:
• Reconcile high volume utility billing in a timely and accurate manner
• Utilize VLOOKUP and pivot tables to manage large data sets
• Process approximately 800 invoices monthly with precision and efficiency
• Operate MS Dynamics 365 for various accounting functions
• Pull invoices from the vendors’ portals, ensuring all utility processing for the month has been completed
• Take responsibility for accruing utilities at the end of the month, while not being involved in making payments
• Update and maintain a master excel sheet to keep track of various accounting elements
• Apply coding to the General Ledger (GL) accurately
• Demonstrate strong account reconciliation skills, ensuring all accounts are up-to-date and accurate
• Utilize strong communication skills to resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
Requirements
• Must possess strong skills in Account Reconciliation
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Proficient in Coding Invoices
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Pivot Table is essential
• Must be able to utilize VLOOKUP and pivot tables effectively
• Excellent Communication Skills are necessary
• Detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy in work
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
