Insight Global Electronics Technician in Vista, California

Job Description

A large defense contractor is looking for an Electronics Technician in Vista, CA. The Electronics Technician is responsible for performing technical functions in support of engineering groups. They will work from documentation, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts, and plans. Work instructions often require interpretation and application of comprehensive knowledge and practical understanding of electronic theory and principles.

Responsibilities :

 - Technical functions including: constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and maintaining equipment, components, devices, or systems

 - Applications may include analog, digital, and/or video circuits and logic systems

 - Conducts testing in a development mode and determines methods or actions to correct malfunctions or design problems

 - Recommends modifications to engineering designs as necessary

 - May assist in the design, construction, test and checkout of test equipment

 - Normally assigned in areas such as development, engineering, test equipment, system checkout, fabrication, and the like

Skills and Requirements

  • High school education

     - 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, repair, and testing

     - Experience in a manufacturing environment

     - Experience in electronics systems troubleshooting

     - Experience writing repair synopsis detailing product diagnoses

Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and work instructions null
