Actalent Manufacturing Engineer (Medical Devices) in Vista, California
Manufacturing Engineering opportunity in San Diego (Medical Devices)
Description:
Support new product development programs and sustaining process improvement efforts for a leading orthopedic manufacturer
Design and developing manufacturing procedures, work instructions, tooling, and fixtures that promote product quality, process efficiency, and operator safety
Generate and modify manufacturing documentation assuring manufacturing processes and related documentation follow established policies and procedures
Implement process improvements, troubleshoot equipment, and addressing operator inquiries.
Estimates manufacturing costs, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
Skills:
process design, iq oq, process validation, test protocol, equipment selection
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience working in accordance to ISO 13485
Experience working with ortho surgical implants and instruments is a plus
