Summary
Our Finance Internship Program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial planning, analysis, and operations within a corporate setting. This program is designed for students interested in corporate finance and provides insight into budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Interns will gain exposure to critical finance functions while contributing to the company's financial performance and strategy.
Responsibilities
The intern will assist in various finance-related tasks under the supervision of the finance team.
Responsibilities will include:
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, budget forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Collecting and analyzing financial data and presenting results to senior finance staff.
• Assisting with financial modeling and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
• Reviewing financial statements and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assisting with financial audits and compliance activities.
Requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access to South Texas Project Electric Generating Station.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Currently enrolled in a 4-year institution and pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and other relevant software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be in good academic standing with your school.
