Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Walnut Creek, California

Description We are offering a Hybrid contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the Real Estate - Sales & Lease industry. The role is based in Walnut Creek, California. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for handling accounts payable in a fast-paced environment, reviewing and posting invoices, and ensuring accurate fund verification.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full cycle Accounts Payable with over three years of experience. • Review invoices in Accounts Payable Software to ensure accuracy. • Verify funds availability for payment processing. • Post invoices and submit them for payment after thorough review. • Utilize MS Excel for various tasks, proficiency is a plus. • Audit for correct vendor, pricing, location, and coding. • Please note that journal entries will not be part of your responsibilities. • Use your skills in Accounts Payable (AP) to effectively manage vendor payments. • Leverage your MS Excel skills to manage and analyze data effectively. • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable transactions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Experience in the Real Estate industry, particularly in Sales and Lease

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups

• Ability to handle high volume invoice processing

• Experience in maintaining vendor files and answering vendor inquiries

• Ability to reconcile monthly statements and related transactions

• Capable of preparing analysis of accounts when required

• Able to perform month end closing procedures and postings

• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and professional manner

• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• High degree of accuracy and understanding of accounting and financial principles

• Must posses a problem-solving attitude and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis

• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
