Job Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated individual to fill the role of Materials and Logistics Specialist. This pivotal position demands a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail and a proven track record. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in optimizing our materials flow, ensuring accuracy in inventory management, and fostering seamless collaboration with vendors. This position is integral to the seamless functioning of our operations and requires a candidate with a proven history of handling responsibilities with precision and dependability.

Responsibilities:

  1. Receiving: • Receive and visually inspect incoming packages, parts and shipments. • Conduct thorough review of contents to verify quantities and parts against packing slips with high levels of accuracy. • Verify quantities and parts against packing slips with high attention to detail. • Record received items into the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.

  2. Inventory support: • Accurately identify and categorize materials based on stringent organizational standards. • Execute material movements to the assembly floor, manufacturing floor, or inventory as dictated by organizational process needs.

  3. Vendor Coordination: • Coordinate external services with vendors. • Generate purchase orders and pack lists for vendor services, ensuring clarity and completeness. • Facilitate communication with vendors regarding pickups and deliveries. • Expedite orders for outside services as necessary.

  4. Shipping: • Ensure shipments are adequately packaged to prevent damage. • Compliance with shipping regulations and requirements. • Coordinate shipping documentation and customs paperwork as needed. • Collaborate with shipping partners to guarantee timely and secure transportation of materials.

     

     Qualifications:

• Substantial experience in materials and inventory management. • Proficiency in navigating Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to precision in counting and recording.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, demonstrating an ability to thrive in a high-paced environment. • Dependability and focus, coupled with an unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards
