Medtronic Strategic Account Manager in Warsaw, Poland

As SAM (Strategic Account Manager) You will be responsible for maintaining and expands professional relationship with strategically important large customers. At assigned customers, Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives. The Strategic Account Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers; while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.

You interface with hospital staff (clinical and non-clinical) C-suite and senior management, local NHF, to understand their most pressing problems. As such you are also working as a connection between IHS consulting, business development colleagues and the clients you serve. Additionally, you will interact with multiple stakeholders within the Medtronic organization, including the Integrated Health Solutions team, market development teams, sales team, etc.

A Day in the Life

• Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.

• Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.

• Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.

• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.

• Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel. Partner with key hospital stakeholders, influencing them by developing well-articulated situation analysis for change.

• Develops actionable plans for immediate improvement and costs benefit solutions .

• Manages and execute end-to-end projects, leading to quantified economic value.

• Maps, understands and assesses clinical pathways and patient journeys within a hospital or health system settings.

Must Haves

• Fluent in Polish and English

• Experience dealing with hospitals’ clinical leaders, staff, and C-suite/Sr. Management/stakeholders

• Experience with working and communicating in international environments, preferably in matrix organization

• Demonstrable experience over 3-5 years including relevant experience in business development

• Project / program management skills

• Relationship building / customer engagement skills

• Consultancy expertise in healthcare

• Problem solving

• Advanced Education Degree (Masters)

• Preferable localization Central East Poland
