System Test Engineer - Digital Experience in Hearing Solutions, Group IT

We are looking for a System Test Engineer to join the project team in Digital Experience Hearing department. The purpose of the project is to deliver the new, state-of-the-art e-commerce solution.

You will join a team of highly qualified colleagues and apply your skills in defining, building, and maintaining modern online services.

Your main responsibility will be to ensure high-quality of code delivered in the scope of project, by designing and executing test scenarios.

The Team you will be part of

Positioned in our office in Warsaw, you will be part of one of the Digital Experience Hearing agile team, alongside our solution architect, developers, product owner, test engineer and scrum master. Our team, spread across Poland and Denmark, is at the forefront of crafting premium partner portals, CRM, web and e-commerce solutions that cater to our customers, internal sales, and marketing teams.

Group IT supports the entire GN Group, ensuring seamless management and evolution of our IT infrastructure. This is integral to our commitment to leading the technological shift in intelligent audio solutions.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

Test web applications and systems across the platform on different environments (primarily functional tests)

Plan and deliver test coverage of the specific feature or business area

Provide test support for the development team and product owners throughout all stages of development

Analyze and evaluate that acceptance criteria are clear and fully described

Collaborate with test manager, product owners, scrum masters, delivery managers, developers and other QA engineers to ensure that testing meets project goal and objectives

Prepare deployments making sure QA of release is on a high level

Communicate on any risks from a QA perspective that could affect the future release

Drive tech improvements that could improve QA within the platform

Be responsible for QA of deliverables

Perform independent reviews and analysis of existing QA processes finding areas that could be improved (continuous improvement of QA practices, approaches, frameworks, tools).

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have:

A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

3+ years of professional experience in QA working with enterprise solutions

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and documentation

Experience in testing Web applications ( dev tools, cross-browser/device differences )

Knowledge of client-side technologies ( HTML, CSS )

Experience with REST APIs ( XML, JSON ) and Postman (or equivalent client)

Basic experience in continuous integration processes and tools ( Azure DevOps, Octopus or similar)

Experience in testing of any CMS solutions (preferably Sitecore / Amplience )

Experience in testing of any eCommerce solution (preferably Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B )

You are a dedicated team player with effective communication skills and by being part of a distributed team, you will communicate a lot with colleagues and stakeholders

You have fluent English language skills (in speech and writing) and you feel confident working in a cross-cultural environment

Strong Agile mindset with experience working with Scrum or other Agile frameworks

You have experience with and feel comfortable working in a truly agile atmosphere

Knowledge about or hands-on experience with test automation is a plus.
