About the role:

The Personnel Security Specialist Level II will provide support as needed to the Government's personnel security specialists.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience enrolling and activating applicants for HSPD-12 PIV cards.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience fingerprinting applicants.

  • Experience troubleshooting issues with any of the above-mentioned databases as well as badging equipment.

  • Experience managing overall tasking for contractor team.

  • Experience assisting other contractor security specialists with questions and/or issues in day-to-day activities and escalating issues to federal staff when necessary.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Must be able to pass a T2 Investigation.

  • Experience enrolling and activating applicants for HSPD-12 PIV cards.

  • Excellent customer services skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Experience fingerprinting applicants.

  • Experience troubleshooting issues with any of the above-mentioned databases as well as badging equipment.

  • Experience managing overall tasking for contractor team.

  • Experience assisting other contractor security specialists with questions and/or issues in day-to-day activities and escalating issues to federal staff when necessary.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
