Job Summary

Tuvli, an Akima company, is hiring for a Office Administrator to support our DoS client located in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the process for handling all incoming and outgoing communications and correspondence related to the OES and OES/SA role in interagency deliberative processes and groups related to space policy formulation and implementation.

  • Collaborate with the SA management team to define key logistical criteria and expectations, and devise a timeline for executing activities.

  • Manage all processes related to the flow of information into, within, and out of the office in order to maximize the efficiency of decision-making processes and continuously improve the timely and effective completion of tasks, assignments, and discreet projects.

  • Perform logistical functions for on-going projects, interagency meetings, activities, and events, to include management of travel and representational funds and the ordering of supplies and materials for office use.

  • Manage all leave and time & attendance (TATEL) processes and paperwork for OES/SA as the office’s official timekeeper.

  • Manage travel authorizations, orders, and vouchers in support of the SA management team and office staff.

  • Assist other officers in the drafting of data-driven information memos and policy recommendations for the State Department.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education or experience in office or organizational management, and public or international affairs, and have an interest in public service.

  • Familiarity with the Department of State policies and procedures or ability to rapidly learn these policies and processes and keep up with their evolution and change.

  • Familiarity with E2 solutions is preferred.

  • Three years of similar office administrative experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including follow-up on pending tasks and the ability to track end-to-end processes for the flow of task-related information.

  • Ability to operate significantly under own initiative with general guidance and supervision provided by management.

  • Ability to work with a wide variety of actors, including OES, State, Embassy, and interagency colleagues as well as outside visitors and contacts, including officials from the private sector, NGOs, and academia.

  • Ability to schedule meetings via Outlook and utilize multiple IT applications and collaborative tools for conducting remote meetings.General word-processing skills.

  • Active Secret Clearance.

29.10 - 34.10
