COUNTY OF WASHINGTON MH PROGRAM SPECIALIST I - CASSP Coordinator in WASHINGTON, Pennsylvania

The County of Washington Behavioral Health & Developmental Services Department is seeking applicants for the position of Child & Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) Coordinator. The starting salary for the position is $40,274.69 with a generous benefits package, including family health insurance, retirement contribution, and wellness benefits/activities for both employees and their families, paid time off (vacation and sick) and employee assistance program (EAP). The position is an 8:30-4:30 Monday thru Friday (rare occasion for evening work).

The Child & Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) Coordinator position helps children and their families with mental health concerns in Washington Co. This county level position facilitates carious meetings and works closely with school districts, providers, and families to ensure appropriate services and resources are in place for adolescents with complex needs. They assist in developing Individualized Plans of Action with the child, family and multi systems involved, to assure that the family has the least restrictive services in place. CASSP Coordinator monitors and coordinator the services for families in the mental health program and assures that the program meets the CASSP principles. They work closely with the Child and Adolescent Director to identify mental health focused training opportunities and cross system collaboration amongst services and community members in Washington County. The position also provides technical assistance to contract and service providers, interprets rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and provides advice regarding overall policies and program objectives.

The position requires a bachelor's degree in related field and two years of professional level experience in the field of mental health OR any equivalent combination of experience and training.
