ATA Services, Inc., is looking for an Administrative Assistant for the Residential Licensing & Special Investigations Dept. in Waterbury, VT. This position is entirely office-based (Waterbury, VT) and the hours are 7:45 am 4:30 pm, with a 45-minute lunch break. The role is currently 32 hours a week and pays \$19.00 an hr.

This position has been approved and is considered open-ended at this time. We are optimistic this will be a long-term opportunity for the successful candidate.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Process criminal background checks for Foster Parent and Household Members.
  • Knowledge and ability to maintain excel spreadsheets to track information.
  • Prepare Fingerprint authorizations for Vermont Criminal Information Center for fingerprint supported criminal background checks.
  • Ability to retrieve training certificates from an outside database to Foster Care applicants.
  • Management of foster parent training spreadsheet and notification letters.
  • Work with an outside contractor to obtain training certificates.
  • Process incoming/outgoing mail on a daily basis.
  • File
  • Send files to public records and secure shred.
  • Other office/administrative duties as necessary
