JOB REQUIREMENTS: Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements. Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools. Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications. Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and verniers. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: (Entry level assembly position) Reads and follows blueprints, travelers, work instructions, specifications and other instructions in order to build and assemble part in an accurate and timely fashion. Making solenoids for Coke machine and parts for Harley Davidson. Examines components and assemblies for correct fit. Interpret measurements. Documents actions by completing production and quality forms (including electronically). Keeps equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements as required.
