Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The role involves mechanical assembly of tank equipment, wiring, and conduit. The successful candidate will also perform repairs on units, parts, and materials, read and understand schedules and workflow requirements, retrieve materials from storage for assembly, inspect assemblies for conformance to design criteria, keep tools organized, and maintain an orderly work area. Additionally, the role includes writing maintenance work orders.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly of tank equipment, wiring, and conduit.
Conduct repairs on units, parts, and materials.
Read and understand schedules and workflow requirements.
Retrieve materials from storage for assembly.
Inspect assemblies for conformance to design criteria.
Keep tools organized and maintain an orderly work area.
Write maintenance work orders.
Essential Skills
2+ years of mechanical assembly experience with basic hand and power tools.
2+ years of blueprint reading experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
1+ year crane experience (preferred, not required).
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Work Environment
The work environment is a very large, clean, and organized manufacturing setting. You will be working on the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) or the 3rd shift (11pm-7am), with training on the 1st shift (7am-3pm) for 2-6 months. Overtime is typically every other Saturday, with no mandatory Sunday shifts. The team size consists of 60 assemblers on each shift. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, jeans, and safety glasses.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60923.20 - $60923.20/yr.
