Amentum Parts Crib Attendant – Temporary in Waukesha, Wisconsin
Amentum is seeking a temporary Parts Crib Attendant for our 1st shift Manufacturing Maintenance team in Waukesha, WI! This project is scheduled to last approximately 5 months.
Typical work schedule is 7:00am – 3:30pm; hours may vary based on needs of the business.
Overtime on Saturdays may be required to meet critical business demand.
The Temporary Parts Crib Attendant will perform the following responsibilities:
Enter correct part number and manufacturer number
Enter the correct description and upload photos
Enter current price
Enter Min and Max values
Enter correct bin locations
Enter vendor information as well as updated contact information
Label all parts
Cycle Count
Identify Critical Equipment.
Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
Prior warehouse, tool crib, or parts crib experience, MRO Cribs or Maintenance experience preferred
Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
This position may require a valid Driver’s License.
This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.
This position may require overtime, various shifts, weekends, holidays, and alternative work schedules.
Physical / Special Requirements:
Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders
Requires the flexibility to stretch/reach, bend/stoop, squat, kneel, move in a 90-degree fashion repetitive for shift.
Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.
Requires the ability to stand continuously for 4 hours at a time.
Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife.
Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.
Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior exposure to an industrial facility environment.
Experience with Material Handling Systems, Work Order / CMMS Systems, Hazardous Materials Systems, and/or crib systems.
Experience operating forklifts, or willingness to be trained at facility.
Technical certification or specialized training preferred.
