Join our team in Webster, NY as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk at our dynamic machine shop. This role offers an opportunity to manage incoming and outgoing shipments with precision and efficiency. salary: $16 - $17 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 4:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Shipping and receiving

• Processing orders: Ensuring orders are processed efficiently, accurately, and on time. This includes recording order details, packing items into containers, and labeling them.

• Preparing shipping documents: Ensuring all necessary shipping documents are prepared and attached to each package.

• Tracking shipments: Tracking, tracing, and updating the status of outgoing shipments

• Maintaining records: Keeping detailed records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.

• Assisting with loading and unloading: Assisting coworkers in loading and unloading delivery trucks.

• Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Fridays: 7am-11am

• Pay rate: $16-17/hr

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
