About International Designs: International Designs is the manufacturer and supplier of the EZTube Framing System, a versatile construction system that simplifies frame construction without the need for welding or machining. Since 1987, we have served a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, trade shows, pharmaceuticals, engineering, museums, zoological parks, and automation.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our team. The Machinist will play a crucial role in our in-house fabrication services, focusing on operating milling machines, drill presses, and saws to produce components using the EZTube Framing System.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines, drill presses, and saws to fabricate aluminum tubes and other materials.
- Perform precision machining operations such as cutting, drilling, tapping, and milling.
- Assist in prototype development and testing processes.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure components meet specifications.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in operating milling machines, drill presses, and saws.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
- Must pass drug testing.
