Are you an experienced auto tech looking to pass on your knowledge to the next generation? Alfred State College is looking for a hands-on Automotive Instructor to teach freshman students in our two-year A.O.S. degree program.
If you've spent years in the shop and know your way around brakes, steering and suspension, electrical systems, HVAC, NYSI, and welding, this is your chance to train the future of the trade. You'll be working with students, teaching them real-world skills they can take straight into the industry.
We're looking for someone who's not just a great tech, but also enjoys sharing their knowledge. Basic computer skills are needed for lesson planning, grading, and email, but the real focus is on getting students hands-on experience in the shop.

Job Requirements:
Applicants must have at least seven years of experience in the automotive industry, with a minimum of five years working as an automotive technician.
An associate degree or higher, ASE certification, and factory service training are preferred.
Additional Information:
The starting salary for this position is $50,000 and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
