Job Title: IT Plant Support Analyst

Description: Are you passionate about IT support and looking for a flexible part-time role? Join our team as an IT Plant Support Analyst! This position offers 16 to 20 hours per week, with a first shift schedule (8 am to 5 pm). We are open to multiple ways to achieve these hours. This role is 100% onsite with some on-call and travel responsibilities. Candidates must have their own vehicle. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.

As an IT Plant Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to our plant locations and contributing to global IT projects. You will ensure that service level agreements for IT systems and functions are met, including workstations, phones, servers, networking equipment, and network-connected lab and plant equipment. You will also coordinate and communicate global IT system outages and support the plants during downtime. This role involves working closely with various global IT teams and business units to support technologies critical to plant and business applications, ensuring their performance, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and follow-up to partners with hardware, phone, or other identified IT support items or process issues.

  • Identify and address trends in support issues, correcting the root cause or working with the appropriate team to do so.

  • Diagnose, repair, install, perform, or facilitate upgrades on IT-supported software and hardware according to standard operating procedures.

  • Focus on proactive support and direct work to the proper support teams.

  • Maintain communication with partners during the resolution process, ensuring ownership of the issue.

  • Utilize the Service Management tool to enter and update issues and requests until complete.

  • Communicate system outages to those affected at assigned plant(s).

  • Roll out new processes, hardware, or software.

  • Work with contractors and engineers to ensure policies are understood and followed.

  • Provide 24x7 support for the plant/region as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
