JOB REQUIREMENTS: Discover. Achieve. Succeed. #BeHere Location: US:WI:WEST BEND at our CP-PLEASANT VALLEY HEALTH CNTR facility. This job is ON - SITE. FTE: 1.000000 Shift: 1st Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm. Friday alternates between 7:30am - 4:00pm & 8:30am - 5:00pm. Expected to travel to all 8 (Germantown, Jackson, Hartford, Kewaskum, Pleasant Valley, Port Washington, Mequon and West Bend) lab locations each month. Job Summary: Performs various routine duties associated with patient encounters; works effectively with other healthcare personnel to provide efficient and effective services; promotes efficient and high-quality care and satisfaction; establishes and directs the daily workflow of the Phlebotomy team. Lead Phlebotomist will assist supervisor in training new phlebotomy staff and perform yearly competencies. Lead is expected to round with phlebotomy staff at all 8 (Germantown, Jackson, Hartford, Kewaskum, Pleasant Valley, Port Washington, Mequon and West Bend) lab locations each month and report findings to leadership. Assist Phlebotomy supervisor with reviewing the Phlebotomists\' schedule as well as being flexible to cover open shifts. Participation in the Patient Safety Collaborative Group Meetings is required. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience in clinical lab setting. Demonstrated upward progression in Phlebotomy or Clinical Lab setting is required.EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent is required. Graduate of approved Phlebotomy Training program is preferred. LICENSURE: ASCP certification is preferredSPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Professional and friendly disposition; ability to work under sometimes stressful situations. Excellent customer service, organizational, and motivational skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to effectively train employees and students using different teaching/training styles and methods.
