Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in West Henrietta, New York

Description

We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Henrietta, New York. The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing payroll processes, handling employee relations, administering benefits, and managing the recruitment and onboarding process. This role is pivotal in maintaining a positive work environment and ensuring smooth operation of our HR functions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment for all employees

• Foster positive employee relations, addressing any issues or grievances promptly and professionally

• Administer benefits, including monitoring the open enrollment process

• Manage the recruitment process, from sourcing to hiring, ensuring we attract and retain top talent

• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are properly integrated into the team

• Utilize human resources management systems (HRMS) and other technologies to enhance HR functions

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations

• Manage employee time tracking through platforms like 'About Time'

• Oversee compensation administration, ensuring fair and competitive compensation for all employees

• Handle employee relations matters, fostering a positive and respectful workplace environment.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in a managerial position.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.

• Experience with Ceridian and HRMS software.

• Proficient in 'About Time' time management software.

• Strong understanding of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration.

• Experience in maintaining Compliance in HR practices.

• Proven track record in managing Employee Relations.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws.

• Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification is a plus.
