Robert Half HR Generalist in Westborough, Massachusetts

Description Robert Half is working with a manufacturing client who is experiencing tremendous growth and is seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy HR Generalist with a strong emphasis on recruiting and onboarding. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail and professionalism, playing a key role in ensuring a seamless hiring process and excellent employee experience. Key responsibilities include managing full-cycle recruitment for various positions, developing and maintaining a pipeline of experience in candidates, collaborating with hiring managers, and conducting reference checks and background screenings. The HR Generalist will coordinate and conduct new permanent orientation sessions, prepare and distribute onboarding materials, facilitate necessary documentation, and provide support and guidance to new employees during their initial integration period. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality, the HR Generalist will serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, foster a positive and inclusive work environment, and uphold company policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.

The role requires the use of HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage recruitment and employee records efficiently, implementing and leveraging technology to streamline HR processes, staying updated on HR technology trends, and conducting data analysis to support HR decision-making. Attention to detail is crucial, as the HR Generalist will ensure the accuracy and completeness of employee records, review and update job descriptions and policies, monitor key HR metrics, and conduct audits for compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in HR, particularly in recruiting and onboarding. Proficiency in HR software, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and knowledge of employment laws are essential. This client is willing to be very aggressive in compensation for the right candidate.

• Proficient in using ADP Workforce Now software for various HR functions.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in managing benefit functions, including health insurance and retirement plans.

• Proven experience in compensation administration, including salary benchmarking and payroll management.

• Strong understanding of HR compliance requirements and ability to implement them in the organization.

• Excellent employee relations skills, with an ability to handle employee grievances and manage conflicts.

• Experience in managing onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and induction.

• Proven experience in full cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.

• Strong administrative skills, including record keeping, report preparation, and HR document management.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on factual information.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
