Job Title: Production Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Machine Operator to join our team. You will work on an assembly line, ensuring that all processes are adhered to and teaching other team members how to perform their tasks correctly. This role involves rotating positions to achieve cross-training, building pallets, and loading and unloading products. If you have at least 1 year of experience operating production machines and enjoy working in a team environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Operate production machines on the assembly line.
Ensure adherence to all processes and standard operating procedures.
Teach and mentor general production employees.
Rotate positions to facilitate cross-training among team members.
Build pallets following proper SOP.
Load and unload products as part of the manufacturing process.
Work collaboratively in a team environment with 3-4 people in each cell.
Inspect and ensure the quality of products.
Use hand tools and forklifts as required.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of experience as a production machine operator.
Experience in the manufacturing industry.
Ability to work on an assembly line.
Strong understanding of production processes.
Capability to teach and train other employees.
Teamwork and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with general labor and machine operation.
Knowledge of boxing, packing, and palletizing.
Ability to use hand tools and forklifts.

Work Environment
You will be working in a packaging manufacturing company that produces various types of paper and wax paper for the food industry. The work environment involves the use of different technologies and equipment to produce high-quality paper products. The facility operates three shifts: 1st shift from 7am to 3:10pm, 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:10pm, and 3rd shift from 11pm to 7:10am. The dress code is standard for a manufacturing environment, ensuring safety and comfort.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WESTFIELD, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
