Robert Half Financial Analyst in Wheeling, Illinois

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Financial Analyst in the city of Wheeling, Illinois. This role is in the realm of accounting software systems and ERP solutions, and the incumbent will be a vital part of our team, contributing to financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and studying data. The role is suited for those with a background in finance and treasury activities.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models for decision support

• Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and recommending actions to management

• Maintain a thorough understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions for efficient data handling

• Assist in the commissions accounting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations

• Conduct financial reviews and audits, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and up to date

• Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Support treasury activities, ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner

• Continually increase knowledge of accounting functions to support the broader financial team.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Financial Analyst or in a related field.

• Proficiency in ERP Solutions.

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is required.

• Ability to perform various Accounting Functions effectively.

• Strong understanding of Finance principles and practices.

• Experience with Treasury Activities, including cash management and risk assessment.

• Proficiency in Commissions Accounting and related software.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
