Position Summary:\ We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Full-Time Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our facilities. This role requires the ability to work independently and efficiently, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard. Prior experience with floor maintenance is preferred.
Responsibilities:\ 1. Perform general cleaning duties, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.\ 2. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.\ 3. Empty and dispose of trash and recycling materials.\ 4. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and entrances.\ 5. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages.\ 6. Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment and chemicals properly.\ 7. Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor plumbing issues.\ 8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:\ 1. High school diploma or equivalent.\ 2. Previous custodial experience preferred, with specific experience in floor maintenance highly desirable.\ 3. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.\ 4. Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining cleanliness standards.\ 5. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.\ 6. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.\ 7. Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.\ 8. Willingness to undergo background check.
