Position Overview

  • Leads a Supply Chain / Logistics organization, defines and implements Supply Chain / Logistics strategy, standards, and guidelines in area of responsibility.

  • Relocation will not be offered for this role.

    Responsibilities

  • Takes responsibility from time to time as team lead and support respective line manager(s) in people development tasks.

  • Detailed planning of process implementation.

  • Define detailed specifications for development requirements.

  • Explain from a technical view the implementation of gaps.

  • Industry /corporate processes implementation across all related applications (SAP/non-SAP).

  • Demonstrating profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools.

  • Being able to map and re-define business process in the warehouse.

  • Being able to support from an ABAP standpoint the functional solution.

    Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Deploys SC / Logistics Strategy according to superior strategy.

  • Defines and ensures implementation of SC / Logistics standards, regulations, and guidelines.

  • Manages and contributes to overarching SC / Logistics programs and initiatives.

  • Takes care for effective risk management measures.

  • Ensures efficiency of SC / Logistics operations.

  • Takes final decision on SC / Logistics unit organization, unit related budgets and decides resource allocation.

  • Responsible for SC / Logistics related KPIs.

  • Heads organization assigned and leads all related management and staff.

  • Acts as personal advisor to unit's Executives and Senior Management in all SC / Logistics related issues.

  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree is required for this role.

  • 10% of travel required with the position.
