HILL FARMS AND CATTLE LLC Irrigation Laborer (temporary) in WILLARD, Utah
Temporary Need: 04/15/25 - 12/01/25. Two (2) full-time, seasonal, temporary Irrigation Laborers needed. Wage is $17.84/hour. No experience reqquired. Work will perform in Willard, Utah. Various locations in Weber and Box Elder Counties, Utah. Hours: 40 hours/ week; 7:00am - 3:00pm Mon-Fri. Workers will be in charge of all irrigating. Changing water at appropriate times, ditch maintenance, pivot inspection and repair, control weed growth around boarders and in ditches. Exposure to extreme temp, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping Involves lifting and carrying of 40 lbs frequently. Exposure to extreme temperatures; extensive pushing or pulling; extensive sitting or walking; frequent stooping or bending over; and repetitive movements. The hours listed represent the normal work schedule. Due to the nature of the duties and weather it is the prevailing practice to work substantially more, less or different hours than those listed, sometimes for extended periods of time. When the number of hours for a week exceeds the number listed then, the worker may be offered, but not required, to work more hours. Employer may request, but not require, workers to work more than the stated daily hours and/or on the weekend, a worker's Sabbath or federal holidays. Worker must report to work at designated time and place each day. Daily or weekly work schedule may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employer will notify workers of any change to start time. Terms and conditions of employment: Must provide employment eligibility documentation (I9 verification) upon hire. All tools, supplies and equipment necessary to perform the duties assigned will be provided at no cost or deposit to the worker. The employer will provide, at no cost to the worker, Workers' Compensation coverage or private insurance which is equal to Workers' Compensation laws for comparable employment. The employer guarantees to offer the worker employment for a total number of work days equal to at least 3/4's of the total work period beginning with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or advertised contractual first day of need. Whichever is later to occur, and ending on the expiration date specified. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer shall pay the worker the cost incurred by the worker for transportation and daily subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer ($15.88/day, maximum $59/day with receipts). The offered wage equals or exceeds the highest of the prevailing wage (AWER) that is issued and determined by DOL for the time period the work is performed (or whichever is the highest rate). This job is in connection with a future H-2A Foreign Labor Certification application.
