This people manager role is responsible for three teams: Digital Twins, MBSE, and DevOps at the Power and Controls (P&C) business unit level. The Digital Twin team creates test stand digital twins by combining machine data with machine learning models in our cloud application to drive insights and value for our test engineers. The MBSE team promotes digital engineering and MBSE adoption by guiding programs on how to use tools related to SysML and requirements management. The DevOps team is creating cloud-native, containerized pipelines that run a model-based workflow to make our software processes more automated and efficient. Together, these teams drive innovation and efficiency within the Power and Controls business unit, contributing to the overall success of our projects and operations.

What You Will Do
You will provide long-term Digital Engineering leadership by creating strategic roadmaps (over 3 years) that align with business objectives for DevSecOps, MBSE, and Digital Twin.
You will coordinate activities between technical teams and program leadership to ensure ongoing adoption of Digital Engineering Capabilities, and provide status of adoption.
You will identify and capture business impacts, while actively seeking cost-savings opportunities and ensure that teams’ macro plan milestones are met.
You will interface with the Enterprise Digital Product Life Cycle team and SBU leadership to understand and integrate available services.
You will give customer presentations on our digital engineering roadmaps and activities.

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams, preferably in technology-driven environments.
Experience in building, mentoring, and growing high-performing teams.
Deep knowledge of MBSE methodologies, specifically with SysML, and experience guiding teams in implementing these practices and its use in systems engineering.
Experience in stakeholder management and ensuring that all teams remain aligned to business objectives, while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
Proven track record of driving team accountability for meeting project deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
