Machine Operator – Join a Leading Aerospace Manufacturing Team
Location: West Des Moines, IA 50265
Job Type: Full-Time; Contract (6 Months)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour ($20.00/hr base pay + $1.00/hr shift differential)
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an entry-level Machine Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with mechanical manufacturing processes while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Learn and train on calibration-specific operations in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
Prepare and assemble components to develop final or sub-assemblies under direct supervision.
Set up and operate production equipment, ensuring proper flow, spray angle, and quality meet product specifications.
Follow established standard work procedures with a focus on obtaining certification.
Work closely with experienced operators, lead technicians, and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to work 2nd shift (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM).
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technical skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work within a structured production environment.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
