ENGINEERING MANAGER at Intelligent Security Systems Corporation, a security software development company, at 1480 U.S. HIGHWAY 9 NORTH, Woodbridge, NJ. Serve as main point of contact for partners/clients during project pre-sales stage - project design / requirements / demos, presentation; Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all product offerings and technical support policies to provide accurate solutions to customers; Travel to client locations for trainings, presentations, Proof of Concepts; Travel to main shows/exhibitions - help setup and run the booth; Serve as main contact for partners/clients during the project deployments; Maintain CRM and other internal platforms with up- to-date opportunity information; Provide Level 1&2 Trainings to new/existing ISS partners; Answer and review RFP/RFI/RFQ documents; Assist in supporting and managing the ticketing platform and resolving 2nd tier technical issues; Manage projects, ensuring successful execution and timely delivery of solutions; Provide post-sales support to ISS clients, and forward extended support cases to post- sales support team; Apply networking knowledge to ensure connectivity and optimal performance of IP devices such as CCTV cameras, video servers; Create solutions with our software products but not limited to the use of 3rd party software; Provide cameras and lenses recommendations for video analytics and security projects; and Understand and utilize API and SDK to integrate and customize systems and applications. Supervise subordinates. Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience required. Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in CCTV, Video analytics, Access Control or related technology; Minimum 5 years sizing CCTV system and Video Analytics Solutions such as Face Recognition, License Plate Recognition and behavior analytics; and Minimum 3 years experience in the following: developing JavaScript and NodeJS scripts; working with more than 5 CCTV camera brands; integrating access control with CCTV systems; integrating Intrusion systems; working with hypervisors such as VMware, demonstrating proficiency in virtualization technologies and management; and working with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including database administration, performance tuning, and query optimization. Travel required 20% of time to client locations and shows/exhibitions. 5% travel is international. Full-time job. Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
