We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to provide services in application development, documentation, training, troubleshooting, and maintenance for a range of software and systems. This includes AVEVA/Wonderware’s Archestra Control System, Microsoft Visual Studio C# applications, AVEVA MES modules, AVEVA Work Tasks BPM software, and others. The role involves creating and modifying applications, developing data models, and migrating reports to Power BI. The position requires up to 25% travel to other internal sites.
Responsibilities
Develop, document, and maintain applications using AVEVA/Wonderware’s Archestra Control System.
Create and modify Microsoft Visual Studio C# applications.
Work with AVEVA’s Operations, Performance, and Quality MES modules.
Utilize AVEVA Work Tasks BPM software.
Manage Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) based on AVEVA MES modules.
Use AVEVA’s BI Gateway for data consolidation and aggregation.
Support Rockwell PLCs to provide MES data and functionality.
Develop reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI Report Server and Power BI Power Platform.
Migrate SSRS and Tableau reports to Power BI.
Create data feeds for external partners using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (2019+).
Manage Microsoft Server, SQL Server (2019+), and Reporting Services.
Gather and understand business requirements for data visualization and analysis.
Collaborate with engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data.
Create complex DAX calculations and measures for data analysis.
Ensure data security and compliance with best practices.
Travel up to 25% to other internal sites.
Essential Skills
7+ years of experience in Controls, Automation, or MES Engineering.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Software, or a similar field.
Proficiency with SQL Server databases.
Experience with MES or SCADA systems.
Ability to build reports with Power BI or similar software.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the year.
Ability to read ladder logic.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Aveva / Wonderware.
Proficiency with Power BI.
Knowledge of liquid processes.
Work Environment
This position follows a hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. Onsite attendance is mandatory on Mondays and Thursdays, with flexibility to work from home on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays unless specific project requirements necessitate onsite presence. During onboarding and training, onsite attendance for 5 days a week is required for shadowing purposes. The role can be based out of Casa Grande, AZ, Boone, IA, or Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $175000.00/yr.

Relocation assistance:- Lump sum amount at completion of relocation. - Full cost of real estate commission for the sale of home (up to 6% of the sale price) to be paid upon the sale of home & proof of purchase submission. This amount is taxed, but the amount will be grossed up to cover the taxes.- Reimbursement for the full cost of a professional pack and move service to be paid upon completion of relocation to the Wooster, Ohio, area and proof of purchase submission. Reimbursement requires three bids and approval by Daisy Brand prior to finalizing mover. This amount is taxed, but the amount will be grossed up to cover the taxes.
- Sign-on bonus , paid in the second week of employment.
