Job Description
Assist with setting overall environmental direction for the site. Ensure compliance management systems are established and implemented to meet applicable environmental and company regulatory requirements;
Monitors existing and potential environmental concerns and recommend priorities for resolution.
Facilitate and maintain sound environmental policy with clear strategies and tactics to deliver 100% compliance in line with corporate goals.
Lead internal and legal audits and government certification application;
Maintains relationships with regulatory and government agency personnel. Maintain all environmental records and documentation that supports compliance with all regulatory requirements;
Develop programs for remedial action. Coordinates necessary resources to implement programs;
Interact with operations/technical managers and staff on environmental compliance issues and is proactively involved in issues with high business unit visibility and/or media scrutiny;
Manage the environmental service vendor to the quality service delivery;
Any of other job assigned by the immediate manager.
