General Summary
Conducts Life Support training programs on an "as needed" basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Facilitates the delivery of System-wide education programs.
Maintains appropriate credentialing for educational role.
Uses feedback from program evaluation mechanisms to improve performance.
Fulfills annual minimum scheduling requirements.
Common Expectations:
Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
Takes responsibility for the cleanliness and appearance of education facilities and properly maintains department equipment.
Required for All Jobs:
Performs other related duties as identified.

In order to maintain competency, all PRN life support instructors must teach minimum of one class per quarter in an OL&D managed course.
All PRN life support instructors must maintain a current provider card and their instructor status in the AHA course they are teaching, as required by the American Heart Association.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Licenses:
Certified BLS Instructor Upon Hire Required or
ACLS Instructor Certification Upon Hire Required or
Ped Adv Life Support Instructor Upon Hire Required
