Pay Range: $17-23/hr based on experience
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator for various shifts to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of packaging and processing machinery. You will be responsible for technical operations, set-up, basic adjustments, and maintaining performance levels for all packaging and candy making equipment. You will work closely with the Production Supervisor and/or Lead Person to achieve production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
Production Tallies: Coordinate with the Production Supervisor.
Machinery Operation: Efficiently operate packaging and processing machines.
Communication: Maintain clear communication with the Supervisor or Lead Person.
Quality Procedures: Follow Sanitation, Quality Assurance, HACCP, and GMP procedures.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to company and OSHA safety policies.
Cleanliness: Keep work area and machinery clean.
Checks: Perform and record hourly metal detector, package verification, and weight checks.
Flexibility: Be ready to take on other duties as needed.
Report Issues: Report any food safety and quality concerns immediately.

The pay range for this position is $33280.00 - $41600.00/yr.
